This beautiful California fuchsia is native to the northern parts of California.  It can perform well in a variety of situations, but in hotter climates it requires frequent water and protection from the sun.  The California fuchsias are one of the latest blooming perennials, often beginning blooming in later summer, continuing into the fall.   Hummingbirds love them.
