Stipa tenuissima (Mexican Feather Grass)

Grass, 1-2'H x 1-2'W,  Sun, Yellow/Green, Winter Dormant

Mass planting of Stipa tenuissima is the most effective use of this grass.  In moist areas it reseeds itself quite easily.  The foliage is bright green and will turn brown in the winter months.  It can be cut back to ground level during this time.  In the spring, new foliage will appear and begin to bloom in the early summer.
