Germander Sage is a low growing shrub that prefers to be planted in well drained soils.  Once established, it needs only occasional deep water.  In the spring and the  fall, sky blue flowers cover this sage.  It can be used as a groundcover, in container plantings or as a low growing shrub among other plants. 

The small sky blue flowers have a white throat.
